Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today, to share a home decor
project for fall! Halloween will be here before you know it, and with
everything going on right now, decorating is one of the fun things I'm
still enjoying, and creating my own, is even better!
How cute is this little house??!! Clear Scraps has these cute little Wood House Shapes
in a 3 pack!! These make such cute home decor for you or for gifts! And since you
get 3 you can make them for different holidays, how cute would a Christmas house,
or a Patriotic house, or even and Easter/Spring house be?! Or even make one as
an awesome every day decor piece, with your family name, and est. date–this
would make a great house warming gift too! It was easy to decorate. I traced it
onto the ghost patterned paper, cut it out, glued to the house shape, then added
different decor pieces. I used some stickers, paper scraps, a journal card, and
also used one of the NEW Clear Scraps Shaker, the cute little "BOO" word.
The base piece was painted with orange acrylic paint, and then brushed
with some black distress ink. The "OO" part is the shaker part, and was
painted with black acrylic paint on the top frame, and a sequin mix added
before I glued on the acrylic and then the top black frame. On the top of
the house, I used the Clear Scraps Ornate Lock Chipboard Embellishment.
It's painted with black and gray acrylic paint, and then was glued to
the top of the house, and layered up with some stickers. The banner
was cut from some patterned paper and added with foam tape and
finished off with a couple of twine bows. It makes an adorable home
decor piece for my house this Halloween!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are inspired to create
your own Halloween or any type of home decor using these cute little houses!
