Supplies used - 

 

Please remember to take off the clear covering on all of the plexiglass items! 

 

First of all, I painted the background apple with black acrylic paint, then started gluing the layers together after it was dry. I then painted the top layer with distress paint and regular acrylic paint, then let that dry. 

 

I then used a Posca pen in white to write "#1 Teacher" on it to mimic a chalkboard, then I filled the apple with the summer sequins. I then placed the acrylic over the sequins and glued this down then the final painted layer of the chipboard. 

 

I drilled a hole in the stem and added the twine then tied it to the bag. Presto! finished gift and bag ready to go for that favorite teacher!
