Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and as we are in the Fall season, I wanted to create with the Pumpkin Medium DIY Pallet Shape.
At approximately 8", this is the perfect sized pumpkin to accent your Fall decorating.
Think of all the different things you can do with it – paint it, ink it, stain it, or add pattern paper.
Using the pallet as a stencil, I drew around it onto a sheet of pattern paper, then cut out the pieces.
Next I inked the pumpkin with brown ink to give the edges some color.
All the pieces were inked before being adhered to the pumpkin slats. I also fussy cut another piece of cardstock to fit the pumpkin handle.
I wanted to create a spooky scene to embellish the pumpkin, so I die cut a spooky scene complete with tombstones from black cardstock. The scene sits perfectly on the 2nd slat. Then I die cut several flying witches from black cardstock and positioned them flying above the tombstones.
Now, I'm ready to complete my Fall decorating.
How will you decorate your pumpkin?
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
