Hi there everybody!  You've got Laura here with you today, and I've

got a simply sweet thank you card to share!

Do you like to make cards ahead to have on hand for little things that

pop up in addition to birthdays, Christmas, baby and such?  I always

find having a few extra Thank You cards around, so you can send a

quick hand written note of appreciation, is a great idea!  It's also a perfect

way to use up your scraps from other projects too!  I had scraps of

paper from a home decor project I completed, so I thought hey, I'll

see what I have to make a cute card!  I like to have an assortment of the

Clear Scraps chipboard embellishments around to create with. Why?

Because I can coordinate them to any kind of papers, color palette or

project.  They work well for LO's and home decor projects too, but they

are also a great size for cards!  For this one, I used the cute little

Clear Scraps Mason Jar Chipboard Embellishment.

I traced the jar on a scrap of leaf patterned paper, cut it out and glued

it to the base piece.  The jar outline piece was painted with dark brown

acrylic paint to match the fall theme of the Thank You card, the jar lid

is painted gray and then brushed with a bit of black distress ink to create

an antiqued look.  Then a bit of twine, and a couple of leaves that

were fussy cut and tied on make a cute little jar decoration.  It would

be fine plain too.  It's all about how YOU want to create when you use

these chipboard embellishment pieces!  Check out the Clear Scraps

store for the huge selection!  You can find them all right HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today!
