Hello everyone and happy November! It's Maya on the blog today sharing a mixed media thank you album using the Thank You Wood Card and the Brick Wall Masking Stencil. The wood cards are just perfect to use as a front and back cover to a mini album! Below are the process pictures of how I created this album.
First, this is the thank you wood card pack that contains 2 wood pieces (size 3.75 x 5.75). To start this album, I painted the front and back wood pieces in pink acrylic paint.
When the background paint dried, I painted another layer by adding some brick pattern using lighter pink acrylic paint and Brick Wall Masking Stencil.
For the inside covers, I cut down 2 cards from a 4 x 6 journaling cards paper, trimmed them to 3.75 x 5.75, and adhered with tacky glue.
Next, I chose 4 patterned papers for the inside note pads and cut them to 3.75 x 5.75. I also punched holes in the note pads and added the book rings.
For the cover decoration, I chose some patterned stickers, paper flowers and burlap ribbon to decorate the front and back cover. I also tied a piece of lace ribbon on the book ring.
And here is the finished back cover.
I hope you are inspired to create a mini album of your own using a Clear Scraps album. Have a wonderful day! Blessings.
