Merry and Bright Wall Hanging

Hello Crafty Friends!

Dana here with another home decor project for you! I love Christmas time! I enjoy decorating my home for the holidays. It's never too early to start making our Christmas projects or gifts to share with those we love.

For this project I'm using Clear Scraps medium wood pallet bulb Click here and Clear Scraps chipboard Star bulbs Click here

I also used Mintay "Merry and Bright " papers and chipboard stickers.

Step one: paint your wood pallet bulb base using metallic red paint.  Dont forget to pain the sides of your pallet shape too. Then apply gold metallic acrylic paint to the top of the bulb shape. Let dry. You may have to add 2 coats of paint as I did.

I then added some glue and gold glitter to the bottom tip of my ornament. Shake off excess glitter. Set aside to dry.

Next I cut out one of the journaling cards from the paper pack to use as my main focal point on my project. I diecut a Anna Griffin frame using one of the matching papers. Then glued my journaling card to the center of my diecut frame. Added foam dots to the back if my frame and adhered it to the center of my pallet. I glued a silver pompom to the top of Santa's hat. I adhered acouple quote stickers to the top and bottom of my Santa frame. I wrapped a piece of silver tinsel around the top of my ornament shape. Adhered it to the surface using Beacon 3 in 1 Glue.

Cut apart one of  your Clear Scraps chipboard ornament bulbs. You may save the other ornament bulb for another project. I added some glue to the chipboard ornament bulb and sprinkled some Finnibair glass glitter (Gold rush)  over the top. Shake off any excess glitter. Let dry.  On the very top of the chipboard bulb I added some gold metallic paint. Then I took a piece of green tinsel and glued on top of the string chipboard surface. I adhered the chipboard ornament bulb to the left side of my pallet.

Next I fuzzy cut an ephermera ornament from my paper pack. Adhered one epoxy sticker on top of this ornament and glued it down on the right side of my pallet shape. I took some metallic green crystals and glued on each corner of my diecut frame to add alittle bling! I used some Stickles Star dust and Diamond glitters, to Santa's fur on his hat and on his beard.

I then took a few holly berries and sprigs and used hot glue to adhered to the top portion of my wood ornament. Added a pretty ribbon to the top of my pallet with hot glue.  Now it's finished and ready to hang on your wall!
