Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there everyone!  Laura here to share with you today!  Who's ready for winter crafting?

January is a good time to do some crafting, and I love creating some winter LO's in

advance to have ready for all of those winter pictures!

This LO started with a 12×12 Acrylic Sheet from Clear Scraps.  Using aqua acrylic

paint and the Clear Scraps 6" Nordic Snowflake Stencil I stenciled pretty snowflakes

all around the border of the acrylic sheet to create a wintery background.

So just moving the stencil around the border at different angles, applying paint

with a sponge brush.  The finished design has a nice soft pattern of snowflakes.

After playing with different placement, I decided to turn the page to have the

snowflakes along the top and the bottom of the page.  Then I started layering

on the papers and stickers.  I used some fun wintery chipboard pieces to add

a little more interest.

These pretty snowflakes match the stencil how fun is that??!!  They are the

Nordic Snowflake Chipboard Embellishment from Clear Scraps!!  You can

cut them apart, but I left them attached to make a nice corner framing piece. 

I also used the Clear Scraps Pine Tree Chipboard Embellishment.  I painted it

black and dotted on just a little touch of "snow".  I think the black paint makes

it look like a silhouette and makes them pop on the page.   Clear Scraps has so

many wonderful chipboard pieces to paint, ink, spray, stamp, you can let your
