Tami here to share another project and technique idea with you today.

So far this month, I've shared 2 projects each using a similar set of supplies and techniques that use your Clear Scraps' products in different ways.

For my third project, I used a Clear Scraps' Chipboard Embellishment to emboss a design on paper.

It's easy to do using your diecutting or embossing machine!

Clear Scraps' Chipboard Embellishments come in lots and lots of amazing designs, and are a wonderful way to dress up all kinds of projects.

This is just one more way to use them; and STILL have the embellishment to use on another project.

Here is the card I made using this technique; one of the butterflies from the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishment was used to add the embossed design…

You can try out this technique and make the project if you like using the step-out directions below…

Place the chipboard on diecutting plate, position paper over it, then add embossing mat (or cut piece of fun foam) and cover with top plate. Add foam and or chipboard pieces to stack if needed. Your stack will depend on your machine…

If embossed design is not as detailed or deep as you would like, try adding another piece of foam or chipboard.

Embossed design…

Apply inks in a diagonal rainbow pattern. Dont press hard over embossed area, let applicator glide across it…

Spritz lightly with water; water will activate the inks…

Blot lightly with clean paper towel…

Inked cardstock…

Stamp sentiment…

Adhere inked cardstock to card front. Cut out sentiment and adhere using foam tape…

For an alternate project, try embossing several small designs on the paper, then use the Chipboard Embellishment itself on the card for a coordinated look.
