Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well this week! It's Jennifer and I am sharing a mini album today for you! I love that Clear Scraps creates unique (as well as adorable) shaped albums that are perfect for whatever theme you choose! For my project, I used the Girls Bib Dress Chipboard Album and will show how I assembled my book.
I covered each page with patterned paper applying with my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive. I then removed excess paper using an x-acto knife and healing mat. Using a sanding tool/paper is recommended as well for a smooth finish. For the accent of my cover, I used the Girl Cloud Chipboard Embellishment Shape. I first painted my chipboard using white acrylic paint. I then added glitter embossing powder in pink for the cloud, and white for the stars. I affixed my pieces to the front of the album again using Beacon Adhesive.
I also painted the edges of each page with white acrylic paint to give some contrast.
I found that a 4×4 photo fits best on each page, but you would definitely be able to use a 4×6 inch. I tend to mat my photos with white cardstock, as well as layer extra prints underneath.
For this page, I used one of the Clothes Hanger Chipboard Embellishments to accent the bottom of my photo. I used a chalk paint in light blue to color the chipboard.
Again, I affixed my chipboard using the Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive. Any solvent based adhesive is recommended.
