Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello friends and happy Friday! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a layout I created using the new Bow Mini Shaker Shape!  This cute embellishment can be used on girl-themed projects as well to accent your Minnie Mouse photos as I did here!  I thought it would be perfect for one of my favorite pictures of my daughter in her Minnie ears at Disney! 

Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I adhered patterned paper to the chipboard  base of the shaker. I then trimmed away excess paper with scissors and an x-acto knife.  A sanding tool works great smoothing any rough edges between the paper and chipboard!

Next, I used black acrylic paint to color the top chipboard frame as well as the edges of the two middle frames.

Before adhering my acrylic piece, I  filled the shaker with the new Magical Medley Sprinkles! These are so cute with yellow and red mouse heads and black sequins!

Here is a photo of the shaker all put together! I adhered it to my page again using the Beacon Adhesive. 

To add some extra color to my background, I used my 4×6 Stars Stencil along with Distress Oxide Inks in red and yellow. 

Here is a close up of the end result of the ink + stencil.  Remember your technique doesn't have to be perfect!

I also added smaller embellishments to accent as well as stamped sentiments.
