Hello happy crafters! It's Maya here on the blog today to share a home decor project I created using our new releases – 3D frameables collection! There are three frame shapes and different themes with a word and a shape. It's so fun that we can pick a frame and a theme to create our own home decor pieces. Let's check it out!
▼ On this project, I used the scallop frame and welcome and jar wood pieces.
▼ To start this project, I traced the wood bases on a patterned paper, cut them out with a carving craft knife, and adhered to the bases using tacky glue.
▼ For the jar wood shape, I decided to cover it with a floral patterned paper and decorated it with some stickers. I also wrote down "Home is wherever I'm with you" with a black pen and tied a bow using a piece of twine for a finishing touch.
▼ Here I painted the wood word welcome with acrylic paint in pink.
▼ For the wood frame, I gave it a coat of embossing powder by using a watermark ink pad, detailed white embossing powder and a heat gun.
▼ Then, I applied 0.25 inch double sided foam tape on the back of the scallop frame to adhere to the back frame, so a photo can slide into the frame. As you can see, I also backed the back frame with a big LOVE and a drown flower.
Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you enjoy this 3D frameable home decor project. You may check HERE for all the new releases. Happy crafting!
