Hello and happy Wednesday! It is Maya here on the blog today to share a home decor project featuring the new 3D Frameables. If you like to create and decorate your own home decor projects, you will definitely love this new collection!
▼ For my project, I have the scallop frame and magical-mouse head word n shape.
▼ To start the project, I traced the wood bases on 2 patterned papers, and then cut them out with a carving craft knife.
▼ Next, I applied Aleene's tacky glue on the wood bases and adhered the cut out papers on top of the bases.
▼ For the magical word shape, I painted it with acrylic paint in black. After the black paint dried, I also added some dots with bright yellow, blue and pink colors using a paint brush for extra touches.
▼ Here, I painted the mouse head in black as well. Wait until the paint is dry, then use patterned papers and stickers to decorate around the mouse head shape.
▼ For the wood frame, I gave it a coat of embossing powder by using a watermark ink pad, detailed white embossing powder and a heat gun. Then, I applied 0.25 inch double-sided foam tape on the back of the scallop frame to adhere to the back frame, so a photo can slide into the frame.
