Tami on the Clear Scraps Blog today with another project to show you.

Clear Scraps has some great wood shapes, and one of their NeWeSt is the Mason Jar! The Mason Jar Wood Shapes come 3 to a pack and are a nice size; perfect for decor projects!

I combined the Mason Jar shape with another of Clear Scraps' wood pieces the Choose Happy XL Script Word Quote…

To make it, I started by painting the jar a bright, happy blue! I added a layer of white paint to the jar lid to make it lighter…

While the jar dried, I gave the Word Quote a coat of white paint…

And once that dried, it was time to start embellishing! First I used the 6" Daisies Stencil to apply some cheery pink and orange flowers to the word quote…

I used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place white I worked. Its an easy way to get sharp crisp stenciling with no smudges.

Once the flowers dried, I distressed the edges of the word shape with yellow ink…

I also used the same stencil to ink more flowers on white cardstock and cut them out…

I fit a piece of ribbon across the bottom of the lid, and adhered it in the back…

To finish it up, I adhered the quote to the body of the jar, the flowers to the right side of the ribbon and I added a few ribbon "tails" to the bottom of the larger flower…
