Hello Clear Scraps friends!

Maya is here on the blog today to share a Christmas gnome using the medium wood gnome that I promised last week in my previous project – Autumn Harvest Gnome. Let's check it out!

▼ The size of the medium wood gnome is 7.3" x 14.2". Comes with a gnome base, a hat shape, a beard shape, a nose shape, and hands. As I mentioned in my previous project, I decided to use the hat shape and the nose shape for one side and kept the beard shape and hands for this side with a Christmas theme.

▼ For this side of the gnome, I began by painting its hat and shoes with acrylic paint in black and red.

▼ I used the hat shape to trace on a patterned paper with snowflakes, cut it out with scissors, and glued the cut-out paper to the gnome base using Aleene's tacky glue. Same on the gnome's body as shown below.

▼ For the beard shape, I painted it with acrylic paint in white. Wait till the paint dried and glue it to the base with tacky glue.

▼ Move on to the nose and hands, I used the wood shapes to trace on paper and cut them out with small scissors.

▼ For extra touches, I used the snowflake and the bulb chipboard embellishment. Giving them a shinning look, I tapped them on a watermark stamp pad, sprinkled white embossing powder on the snowflake chipboard, and sprinkled peridot pearlustre embossing powder on the bulb chipboard. And heat them with a heat gun.

▼ Here is the finished look of the hat. I added a piece of ribbon, an embossed snowflake, and a "be MERRY" sticker for extra touches.
