Hola,
Tami here on the Clear Scraps Blog with you today.
It's FALL Ya'll! Not that there is much of a nip in the air here in Texas yet! But working on Fall projects does make it feel more like the season despite the temperature.
Clear Scraps has some cute seasonal Mini Shakers including several for Halloween and Fall. Check out the new ones HERE.
I used the Witch Hat Mini Shaker to embellish this tag…
I used one of the tags from the Chipboard Tag Album as a base. I covered the tag with strips of different papers separated by washi tape. I used the Sanding Stick to remove the excess paper and tape from around the edges of the tag.
For the shaker, I painted the top layer black, then added some sparkle using a shimmer pen. I covered the base of the shaker with a black printed paper. I filled the shaker with a mix of black and matte sequins and some silver metallic beads. I added a bat chipboard sticker to the hat to serve as the hat band.
The Spooky Chipboard Title is also from Clear Scraps. I painted it orange, then layered on several layers of clear embossing powder.
To finish the tag, I tied a striped ribbon through the hole at the top.
You can use altered tags to: make a banner, hang for decor, use as part of a holiday arrangement or tie onto a gift bag.
Thanks for stopping by! Please come back soon to see what the talented designers here at Clear Scraps have to share with you.
