Hi all!  Laura here with you today, sharing a way to use some of the fun

Clear Scraps stencils to create a spooktacular Halloween LO!

I love using stencils to take a plain sheet of paper and create an entirely new look with

just a little ink, pen or paint!  On the left side of the page, I used the Clear Scraps

6" bulb stencil.  This stencil is easy to use to create an entire border by layering it.

I used black distress ink to stencil it directly to the paper, and just continued to line

it up to do the next section and filled the entire 12" paper.  Super simple!  After that,

I took another Clear Scraps stencil, the 4×6" Oct 31st stencil.  I started by stenciling

the "31" in the corner first.  That made it easier to line everything up to get the look I was

going for.  Then I stenciled in the "Oct" and the bats after. 

I did also go back and use the stencil to trace around the "Oct" and the "31" with

a black ink pen to make that part of the stenciled images "pop" a little more.

It's so fun to create your own backgrounds using the Clear Scraps stencils!
