Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello and happy Saturday!  It's finally the weekend and I hope you are doing something you enjoy! Today I'm sharing one of the new 3D Frameables released by Clear Scraps this year! There are a large variety of themes/holidays to go with the Wood Frames + Base.  As long as I can remember we've had cats as pets!  So I was excited to see the new Meow-Cat Word N Shape!  I paired it with the Deco Frame and will show you my techniques!

I began by using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to affix patterned paper to the Deco Frame as well as the larger oval of the Wood Base.  I  cut away excess paper with scissors and an x-acto knife. I then used my sanding stick to smooth edges between the paper and wood. 

Using orange chalk paint, I  applied paint to the outside edges of the frame base as well as to the smaller oval on the base. 

Next, I  painted each piece of the Meow-Cat Word N Shape with grey and red chalk paint respectfully.  

While my Word N Shape pieces were drying, I assembled  my frame using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive  and clipped both pieces together to ensure a tight seal

Again using my Beacon Adhesive, I adhered my base together as shown. 

Showing some close up shots of the Meow-Cat Word N Shape!  I added a cute bow to the Cat by using a punch I had in my stash. 

I used pop dots to affix stickers to the Deco Frame as well as accented with red/white bakers twine.
