Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello Clear Scraps friends! It's Maya here on the blog today to share a fall wall decor featuring the wood fall collection with three cute wood shapes: an apple, a maple leaf, and a pumpkin. I thought it will be so cute to use them to create a wall decor project!

▼ I started by laying the wood shapes on the patterned papers I chose for the background, tracing the shapes with a pencil, and cutting them out with scissors.

▼ Here as you can see, I adhered the cut-out paper to the wood shape using tacky glue. I also blended orange color to the border by using Distress Oxide Ink (Ripe Persimmon) along with a blending tool.

▼ Next, time to decorate each wood shape! I cut out the ephemera from the P13 Paper Product with the Autumn Collection for decoration. I tried to layer the pieces in different ways till I'm satisfied with the layering. It was so fun!

▼ Adding depth to the layering, I applied double-sided adhesive foam to some decorative pieces. Last, I punched two holes on top of each wood shape by using We R Memory Keepers' punch tool and threaded the twine in between each wood shape.
