Princess Album

Hello Crafty Friends!

I'm Dana and I'm back on the Clear Scraps blog with a Victorian style mini album. I think creating mini albums are a great way to showcase your own crafting style! I'll be using Clear Scraps 8×8 chipboard album Click Here  for my project today. Along with Stamperia Princess collection.

All our base papers will measure 8×8. Make sure to punch all your holes along the edge before gluing. Adhere your coordinating papers onto the cover, back and all inside pages.  I'm using a variety of papers from both the 8×8 and 12×12 paper pads. I would suggest having two 8×8 pads if that's the only size you want to use. I recommend using a strong permanent glue like Beacon 3 in 1. I also will be inking all my fussy cut elements with Knotted Wood chalk ink.

Front Cover:  I fussy cut out one of the princess images and Princess sentiment. I adhered my sentiment and to the top of my page using foam dots. My Princess image was adhered to my front cover with foam dots. This adds dimension to your project. Then I glued one set of the chipboard sticker doors at the bottom right side. Then glued acouple gems to resemble door knobs. I applied some mini pearls and gems to the crown chipboard piece and adhered it at the top of my sentiment. I like adding alittle Stickles glitter to the sleeve of her cape.

Page 1: (inside cover) I cut a 8×4 paper and created a pocket. I glued a piece of lace at the top edge along a string of pearls. I fussy cut another doll, envelope and journaling card from the paper pack. I adhered a gem to the top of my corset journaling card. Tuck these inside the pocket. I fussy cut a sentiment, and rose frame element and adhered with foam dots onto my pocket. Then I added a chipboard sticker picture frame at the top of my page.  Foam dots were applied to the top frame piece with the lady image.

Page 2: I left this page blank because I couldn't bear to cover up this pretty paper! But you could add a photo mat and photo if you prefer.

Page 3: I fussycut out one of the curtain and valance from my 8×8 pad. Inked the edges and added foam dots to the back before adhering to my page. I also glued one of the chipboard pictures on the wall. I cut out the dressform images from my 8×8 pad. Then using Clear Scraps Chipboard Dressform shape Click Here I painted the top portion and the stand at the bottom with some Rose Gold acrylic paint. Let dry. Then glue your Dressform image to the chipboard piece. Adding some foam dots on the back of your chipboard Dressform piece, adds depth and dimension. I glued a crystal gem at the top. And Stickles glitter to the beaded necklace. This adds some nice sparkle!

Page 4: Cut out another journaling card and score 1/2 inch at the top to make a flip up page. Then adhere at the top. You can add photos underneath and on the reverse side of your flip page. I adhered another gem on the top of my corset. Then finish by adhered 3 sentiment chipboard stickers on the right side.

Page 6: I cut out one of the door images. Using my x-acto knife I cut around the door. Then carefully glued it on my page. I added acouple brown gems to resemble door knobs. Inside the doors, I added a Princess chipboard sentiment and one of the dolls. Then to finish my page, I added some Dazzle  stickers to all four corners of my page. Then glued acouple chipboard diecut hearts on both sides of my door.

Page 7: I cut a paper at 4 & 1/2 x 8 inches. Scored 1/2 inch at the right. And adhered on the right side of my page. I fussy cut a portrait of the lady, inked the edges. And adhered with foam dots in the middle of my flip page. I glued a flower at the top. You can easily add 2 photos underneath your flip page, and one on the back.

Page 8: For my last page, I fussy cut the vanity, and doll. I adhered them on my page using foam dots. I adhered a umbrella diecut sticker under my dolls hand so she appears to be holding the umbrella. Then add another sentiment at the upper right corner.
