Clear Scraps 3D Frameables–Baby Mine

Hello there everyone!  Laura is here with you today

to share a sweet little project using one of the newest

3D frameables from Clear Scraps!

The great thing about the Frameables, is you can chose

the frame you want and the add on set you want.  You could

paint the base and frame a neutral color and change the add

on for whatever season or look you are going for at the time.

Or you can do as I did here and create this as a piece that

will stay on a desk, in a nursery or part of home decor!

This project started with the Base with Deco Frame

Next up, choosing the insert piece set (you can find the

choices HERE)–the Word n Shape Baby Rocking Horse.

The base pieces, frame and word "baby" were painted

with acrylic paint (white, gray and green).  Edges of the

frame and base were brushed with white.  You can also

cover pieces with patterned paper as well.

That is what I did here on the rocking horse.  I traced it

onto patterned paper, cut it out, glued it on.  I did go over

the edges with a sanding file to make sure they were

smooth with no extra paper.  This is always a great tip if

you don't want to stress about your fussy cutting skills!

I also brushed the edges after it was glued down with

white acrylic paint for a softer look.  A sticker and a

bow finished it off nicely.  It's also great to add a little

something to the "word" portion of the set to make

it pop a bit more.

Just a white organza ribbon tied around with a sticker.

It's a simple, but cute touch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Make sure to stop back soon for more inspiration!
