Tami with you on the Clear Scraps Blog today with a project I'd like to share with you.

Clear Scraps has a bunch of chipboard embellies that you can use on cards, mini albums, scrapbook layouts, home decor and MORE! They come in a variety of themes and styles so it's easy to find just the right thing to set off your design.

I used the Fancy Gate Chipboard Embellishment on this card…

I wanted the gate to have a distressed gray color and thought at first I'd paint it or ink it. But I had a chalk writer out and thought I'd try it on the chipboard. It gave me the exact look I had in mind.

First I rubbed the chalk all over the design, then used my finger to lightly blend and soften the chalk…

I picked out 2 printed papers to use behind the gate. I traced around the design on the backs of the papers. Then cut out the pieces and adhered them to the back of the gate…

I made a card from cream cardstock and adhered printed papers to the top and bottom of the card, then adhered the gate to the card front…

For the sentiment, I cut a design out of printed paper, then adhered it to the lower right corner of the card…

In just a few minutes and in just a few steps, I had my card all finished and ready to send!
