Stacked Pumpkins Chipboard Embellishment Mini Album

Hi friends! It's Jennifer here on the blog today to share a fall mini album I created using some new Clear Scraps products!  Fall is one of my favorite times of year with the changing leaves and fun activities!  I recently visited my brother and SIL in Michigan where we went to a local farm for donuts and hot cider!

I began with the 5×7 Chipboard Tab Album and painted the outside edges with off-white chalk paint. You can use any type of paint however I prefer chalk paint as it dries quickly and adheres nicely to the chipboard.

On the front cover, I painted an additional width on the left side so that I could create my own background. Using the 5×9 Leaves Mixer Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks, I blended my colors from light to dark as shown.

Again using chalk paint (this time in a nice orange color) I painted the Stacked Pumpkins Chipboard Embellishment Shapes. Once dry, I backed the openings with patterned paper and cut away excess with my scissors.

Here is a close up of the Mixer Stencil + Distress Oxide Inks! You can go as light or dark as you choose.

Each page has a background piece measuring 4 x 6.75 inches.  I then added embellishments and/or additional patterned papers. I usually reserve the inside of my front cover for journaling.

I printed my photos at 4×4 and matted them onto white cardstock.  However you can easily fit a trimmed vertical 4×6 or even a few wallet sized on these pages!

Its always fun to "stack" photos if you have similar groupings.  Here, I cut my pictures to 2.5 x 3.75 inches and added a "flap".
