Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi crafty friends! 

Since it is Fall, I decided that my door needed a refresh. I decided that the Pumpkin DIY Pallet Shape would be perfect for this project. So I grabbed my autumn paper pad and got to work. Lately, I have been all about using what I have and not buying the latest and greatest. This project will reflect that.

Grabbing my paper and the pumpkin, I began gluing on my pages one section at a time.

Once I completed covering the pumpkin, I was left with below.

Now I began to walk around my home and grab faux flowers and sprigs that were not being displayed. I wanted to accentuate the orange in the paper, so I took some inks and dyed a few flowers to better match. Once that was completed, I arranged the florals along the bottom right side of the sign.

I then grabbed the Home word from the Word n Shape Home-House set and inked it with distress stain.  I popped that in amongst the flowers.

I then created a bow with wired ribbon and viola! There is my completed door hanger.
