YOU & ME

Hey everybody it’s Tmika here with a quick block post to share. When I saw the YOU & ME wood desk frame, I absolutely had to have it! I knew the perfect picture that would go inside. I chose a picture of me and my husband at a baseball game when we were dating… I think it looks absolutely perfect in this frame! What do you think?

I absolutely loved how it turned out! This was super easy to put together and decorate. After all, the words speak for itself. I started out with painting the base with gesso. The next step is to paint two coats of this beautiful mustard colored acrylic paint. Once that dried I added white ink around the edges for a bit of a distressed look. After everything had dried I glued all the pieces together with hot glue. I added a little gold trim around the edges for a touch of sparkle…

I added my picture to the back of the outer heart layer. I glued it together with hot glue and added gold trim to the edges. Then I secured the outer heart layer to the base. And Voila, I’m done! Now for some final touches…

I created a rosette with some scrap paper and laid that on my photo vase. I added puffy stickers from this Maggie Holmes collection to add to my collage. A cute little matching mustard colored flower and gold leaves finish off this focal point. The frame says you and me and the tiny little ‘HAPPY’ Gold sentiment, completes the sentiment.
