Hi crafty friends!
Today I am sharing a a beautiful pink autumn memorydex card. If you are not aware of what a memorydex card is, it is basically an updated version of a roladex used for memory keeping. It also serves as a way to share your art with someone else. You can add a message, photo, or journaling to the back.
My memorydex card features gold stitching and tons of layering. I used the Fancy Butterflies Chipboard Embellishment and the 4×6 Plaid Stencil for this projects. Once I layered my base papers for the memorydex, I used the Plaid Stencil to add some texture using modeling paste. While that dried, I covered one of the Fancy Butterflies with nuvo drops.
Once everything was dried, I added a little color to the areas that were stenciled and then began layering all of elements. I treated this memorydex card just as I would have a regulars A2 or Slimline greeting card that I create. Finally I went back in and added some shimmer and small details.
Now my memorydex card is complete. I think I will send this to crafty friend to show have grateful and thankful I am for them in this season.
If you choose to recreate this project, please be sure to share in the Clear Scraps Creative FB group and tag me.
Happy Crafting,
Natasha
