Clear Scraps Project Post

Hey it’s Tmika here with a quick project share. I get so giddy (like a kid in a candy store),  about Christmas!! It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year!! So, of course I had to countdown in STYLE!!  I saw this Advent Calendar Kit and knew that it would be a great statement piece. 

 I spray painted the numbers and words with one coat of gold metallic spray paint.

I sprayed the holly leaves with a pretty minty color. I used Feelin Merry paper collection from my stash to individually cover the tags. I went over the edges with an emory board to clean the cuts.

I covered the base and the frame with pink cardstock and glitter mesh. I then lined the bottom with Pom-Pom trim and trimmed the edges with gold string. 

I absolutely LOVE how this came out – AND-  it is timeless. I can pull it out – and count down – year after year. Is this something you do or would try??
