Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi friends!  It's Jennifer here on the blog to share a mini album featuring one of the Mini Shaker Shapes with you today!  Since Valentines Day is coming up I  decided to create a fun book all about love!   For my book, I used the 6×6 Chipboard 3 Tabbed Album.  

Using chalk paint in light pink, I  painted the outside edges of each of my chipboard pages (front and back!). 

As the main star of the cover of mini, I used the Heart Mini Shaker Shape.  I painted the top frame as well as the two middle chipboard frames with the same pink chalk paint.  

Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I adhered patterned paper to the chipboard base of my shaker.  I cut away excess paper with scissors and an x-acto knife. I then smoothed any edges with my sanding tool. 

Again using my Beacon, I adhered the two middle chipboard frames to my base and added some colorful sequins before adding my acrylic piece.  

Here is a close up of the final result!  I added a cute "love" chipboard over the bottom third as my title. 

I  covered each page with patterned paper using 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 as my base background.  The inside of my front cover is always reserved for a little spot of journaling. 

I cut white cardstock to hold spaces for photos to insert at a later date.  I mainly used 4×4 and 3×4 sizes.  

For this page, I  created a fun pocket with my sewing machine to insert some coordinating tags for journaling. Or I  may add some smaller photos?

This page, I  utilized my banner punch and different patterns and created a couple of banners that I stitched through with my sewing machine. I  then added a large journaling spot in the center along with a foam title.
