Lucky Shamrock Mini Shaker Layout

Hello crafty friends! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a St. Patrick's Day themed layout I created!  I've been hanging on to this sweet photo of my son from kindergarten (he's a junior in high school now!) and wanted to scrap him with his rainbow hat and lucky t-shirt!  Sure miss those days!

I got out my green acrylic paint to color the Lucky Chipboard Script Word Title. I then set it aside to allow it to dry.

Using the same paint, I  added a coat to the top chipboard frame and the edges of the middle two chipboard frames of the Shamrock Mini Shaker Shape.

Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I  adhered patterned paper to the Chipboard Frame of my shaker.  I  cut away any excess paper with scissors and followed up using my x-acto knife and sanding tool.

Once I  had my fun sequins inside my shaker and acrylic overlay glued, I  clipped my pieces all together for a firm hold while everything dried.

Taking my top Chipboard Frame, I  added embossing ink and  a fun green glitter embossing powder.  I wanted to give my shaker a little bling!

Before assembling my page, I  used the 5×9 Circle Dots Patterns  Mixer Stencil with Crackle Paste in random area for some dimension.

And here is my shaker all assembled and glued along with my Lucky Chipboard Script Word Title!

Here is a close up of the Crackle Paint with the Mixer Stencil; I  added some hand punched circles as well to my page. I  did not have a lot of this collection left and wanted to incorporate as much color as I  could.

I  cut out a journaling spot from a 3×4 card in the collection and tucked it into my strip of patterned paper.
