Hello friends! It's Jennifer here on the blog to share a fun mini album I created! I have a group of friends from high school that have remained close into adulthood. This year everyone (except me) is turning 50! One weekend a few of us went to Indiana to spend time with our friend, Michelle, to help her celebrate! I used the Chipboard Banner Album for my book and love how it turned out!
For the front of my album, I used the Birthday Cake Mini Shaker Shape as the accent of my page. I painted it a bright pink and added fun sequins to the center! I then adorned the top with die cut numbers.
Also, each page was painted with white acrylic paint before adding any paper or embellishments. For the inside of my front cover, I left an area for journaling. I'm not sure if I'm going to go back and add some thoughts or allow my friend to.
Each page is big enough to fit a 4×4 or 4×6 horizontal photo! I tend to mat my photos onto white cardstock because I like the way it looks.
Here, I created an extra page using some patterned paper and my Scor-Pal. I created a flap to hide photos and journaling as you can see in the next picture.

We turned into pumpkins at midnight and were back in the hotel in our pajamas! LOL
