Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello! It's Jennifer here for our week of partnering with Tres Jolie Kit Club!  I used the 3D Frameables Home-House Word N Shape paired with the Deco Frame with Base.

I began by working on my base;  I painted the larger oval with a nice green chalk paint.  For the smaller oval, I used my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to cover it with floral paper.  I  followed by using my x-acto knife and sanding tool to smooth the edges. 

For my Word N Shape pieces, I  completed the same steps by covering the House with patterned paper and painting the Home word.  

Next, I worked on my Deco Frame.  I chose a mint green pattern for my outside wood frame adhering it with my Beacon Adhesive.  I  lightly painted the outside edges of the base of my frame with the same green chalk paint. 

I cut down a photo to 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches and adhered to the back of my frame. Using my Beacon Adhesive, I affixed the two parts of the frame together.  I then used some clips to hold them while my glue dried. 

I was then ready to assemble my base (it's best to ensure your slots line up before gluing)!   I again used my Beacon Adhesive to affix the two pieces together.  

Once I assembled my 3D Frameables, I  glued some the floral clusters around my frame and to the right of my House for accent.  I also used the round epoxy  sentiments included in the kit as a nice pop of color.
