Tres Jolie Cross Promo-Grateful Heart Vintage Floral Mixable Album

Hello Craft Friends!

Dana here! Hope you are having a crafty month so far. We are doing a Collaboration all this week,  with Clear Scraps and Tres Jolie Kit Club! All the Designers will be sharing their crafty projects each day, so check back often.

My project for today I'll be creating a Clear Scraps Mixable Lovely Album Click here

This album features both acrylic and chipboard pages. Don't worry if you never tried using the Clear Scraps acrylic. It's really easy to use and I'll walk you through it.

The paper collection I chose is 49 & Market Vintage Artistry Tranquility collection! This kit has beautiful floral papers, Laser elements and lots of fussycut images to decorate your album. I'll be inking all my papers, laser cut elements and fussycut images using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs.

To begin our project, I chose several coordinating papers to cover all my album pages. Punch all holes before gluing them onto your album pages. Remember when using the acrylic pages, you must peel off the protective film from both sides before adhering your paper! I like to peel off one page at a time, so I don't scratch the acrylic. Also I use a clear tape runner or Clear glue when adhering my papers to the acrylic. Make sure you pick papers that match up since the acrylic is Clear and the papers will show on both sides.

Front cover (acrylic page) I cut my paper to measure 3 & 7/8 x 7 inches.

Chipboard pages measure 4 & 3/4 x 7 inches.

I recommend using Beacon glue on your chipboard pages. This glue has a permanent bond and works well with chipboard.

Taking my xaco knife, I trimmed away any excess paper from the Deco edge. Then using a sanding tool I smoothed any rough edges, then inked before adhering.

Now we are ready to start decorate our album pages.

Front Cover: I fussy cut out acouple Butterflies and punched out a Daisy flower laser element, blue heart. I chose one of the chipboard sentiments and acouple small hearts. I like to play around with my placement before gluing anything down. I added foam dots to the back of my small blue heart and Daisy flower before adhering on my cover. Along the Deco edge,  I applied some Dazzle stickers! Here's a closeup!

Back of front cover (page 1) I created a pocket measuring 3 & 3/8 x 2 &1/4 inches. I added a  punched border piece to the top edge of my pocket before gluing in place. Inside my pocket I tucked in a laser floral piece. Ticket and a tag! At the top of my page I adhered one of the postage stamp washi tape.

Page 2 I made a flip page measuring 5 x 3 & 1/4 inches, score 1/2 inch on the right side and adhere on the right side of my page. Using foam dots I adhered a fussycut sentiment. On the back of my flip page I applied some of the washi tape postage stamp images. Then I added a photo! Here's some closeups!

Then I tucked another fussycut heart, date card and tag inside my pocket! The All my Heart ticket I stapled in the corner and adhered at the top left side of my page.

Page 4: I cut and trimmed a border strip piece and glued at the bottom of my page. With foam dots I adhered some paperdolls. Then glued a chipboard sentiment at the top. I adhered a few Dazzle stickers on the acrylic Deco edge! Here's some photos!
