This is an amazing set from Clear Scraps called the Advent Christmas Countdown Kit. All you do is add your own paper/stickers and paint and the rest is in the kit! It's a fun way to add to your Christmas decor! And better yet–there are some BRAND NEW Advent Calendars that were just added to the Clear Scraps store!! How about a days 'til vacay calendar, a days 'til retirement or?? Great options and so much fun to create! They make GREAT gifts as well! Summer and fall crafting time is perfect to get those projects done so you are ready to go/gift for the holidays! The set of numbers with this Advent Christmas Kit is adorable! I just used black acrylic paint on the numbers and then covered the wood "planks" with pretty patterned papers.
You can mix it up like I did, or use the same papers, paint them, stain them, or even just keep the wood look. I added a band across and a little sticker trim too. You can add more or less, all up to you and your creativity! In addition to the numbers, you get the "days until Christmas" and you also get the holly chipboard embellishment!
I painted with green and red acrylic paint, added a bit of glitter glue to the berries, and then added a few stickers and enamel dots to finish it off!
