Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello friends! Its Jennifer here on the blog to share one of the brand new Mini Shaker Shapes with you!  The Lemon Slice Mini Shaker Shape is perfect for your summer themed projects! I used mine for a cute photo of my niece running through water fountains!  

I began by using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive and adhering a cute patterned paper to the chipboard base of my shaker.  I cut away excess paper with scissors followed by using my x-acto knife and sanding tool. 

I then took a bright yellow acrylic paint to color the top chipboard frame as well as the edges of the two middle frames.  I  find it helpful to adhere the middle frames together before painting. 

I applied some mini heart and star sequins to my shaker before adhering my acrylic overlay and top chipboard frame. I then used my Beacon Adhesive to affix my shaker to my layout. 

I had some fun chipboard letters to use for my title that I adhered underneath my photo; it helps to add a bit of liquid adhesive to give extra hold.  

I also left space for a journaling spot as well as added coordinating die cuts and stickers.
