Summer Memory-Dex Cards

Hi crafty friends! It's Jennifer here on the blog to share with you my Memory-Dex cards of the month!  We are in the swing of the summer so I wanted to create some fun, bright summer themed cards. I used the Regular Tab Chipboard Dividers for my project.

I began by painting the bottom half of my cards with yellow acrylic paint.

For Card #1, I adhered patterned paper using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive.  I  trimmed away excess paper with my scissors followed by using my x-acto knife and sanding tool.

Using washi tape to secure, I placed the 5×9 Circle Dots Pattern Mixer Stencil over my patterned paper as shown. With a spatula, I  applied a thin coat of crackle paste.

Once my crackle paste was dry, I  added die cut pieces as well as brads and enamel dots for accent.

For Card #2, I applied my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to affix my patterned paper.  I trimmed excess paper and used my x-acto knife and sanding tool.

I added a journaling spot and title sticker along with some bright chevron ribbon.

Card #3,  again I used my Beacon Adhesive to affix my patterned paper.  I  tore a thin piece of yellow patterned paper as a nice border between the plaid and yellow acrylic paint.  Using the x-acto knife helps trim edges and gives a nice smooth look.

For this card, I added a journaling spot along with a flower cluster along with some pink bakers twine.
