Hello Craft Friends!
Dana here!
Hope you had a great 4th of July holiday! It's hard to believe July is almost over. I hope you are squeezing in some craft time in between your summer outdoor activities.
Today I'll be creating a few Clear Scraps Acrylic Divider Cards! I chose three different styles, Rounded Tab, Scallop and Regular Acrylic Divider Cards. You can see all the Clear Scraps Divider Cards, DIY Boxes and more here Click here
When working with acrylic, you have to be mindful of where and what adhesive you use. I prefer using a clear tape or glue to adhere my papers. Remove all the protective film from both sides of your acrylic, before decorating. I peel one acrylic card at a time to prevent scratches on my acrylic.
The papers I chose are from Crate Paper Magical Forest collection. These Divider Cards are a great way to use up all your leftover scraps! And I always save my scraps and they tend to accumulate lol. I also inked all my papers using Distress Ink Gathered Twigs. I also applied some Metallic Rose ink around all the edges /tabs of acrylic cards.
Card 1: I cut my polka dot paper to measure 4 x 2 & 3/4 inches, then adhered onto my card. I applied a scallop sticker on the top tab. Using a Circle die I cut out this cute little bear image and then adhered in the center of my card using foam dots. Here's a photo!
Back of Card 1: I adhered another patterned paper onto my card, applied another scalloped sticker on the top tab. Then using my same die, I diecut the Letter B and adhered to the center using foam dots I fussy cut out a little bear and applied on the left edge using foam dots and adhered a star sticker at the top. Here's a photo:
Card 2:( Scalloped) glued a gold/floral paper onto my Divider ccard.i adhered this cute little girl sticker to my card using foam dots. Added a sticker sentiment on the top Scalloped tab and a house sticker on the left side. Here's a closeup!
Card 2 back: I adhered another paper and a small Journaling card on top. Adhered a rainbow sticker on the top and a tiny star sticker and fussy cut moth on the left side. Here's a photo!
Card 3 Regular: I adhered another patterned paper to my Divider card. Then cut out a small journal card and sentiment on top. Using foam dots I adhered the cute fox sticker and a tiny gold sticker. Here's a photo!
Card 3 back: I cut out a small journal card and adhered onto my Divider card. Then fussy cut out 3 animal images and adhered using foam dots. Here's a closeup!
