Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to share some inspiration for a fun summer LO!

Clear Scraps has so many fun Chipboard Embellishments you can use for just about any project!  The brand new Script Vacation and Suitcase was the jumping off point for this particular LO!  It's the perfect embellishment for this beach LO and of course would work great for any vacation! 

The script is so fun and playful on this one!  As always, you can paint, stamp, ink, emboss, whatever you'd like to do on these raw chipboard pieces.  It's one of the things I love about them.  You can keep them in your scrappy supplies and then coordinate with any project color or theme!

I love the fact the suitcase is separate from the word "Vacation" as well, so that way you can use them on different areas of your LO.  You could use them in completely different projects if you'd like too.  You can find these and several other options in the "What's New" section in the Clear Scraps store.  You can find that HERE.

Next up is the border!  This was created by layering more of the gorgeous chipboard embellishments from Clear Scraps along the edge of the LO.

Sand Dollar Chipboard Embellishment set,  Fan-Shells Chipboard Embellishments, and the Coral Chipboard Embellishment.  These were painted colors that matched the patterned paper, and then I brushed the edges with some ink or paint to soften them a bit.  They were all glued along the edge of the LO to create a nice frame along the edge and add a lot of texture, color and interest.  If you have never checked it out, make sure to look at the chipboard embellishment section (HERE) of the Clear Scraps store.  It's loaded with a ton of great options!
