Hi all, it’s Jennifer Kirks and I’m sharing my Baby’s 1st year memory dex box. I thought this would be a great and unique way to document a baby’s first year. In this project I used the High DYI wood box . I also used the Rounded chip dividers and Rounded tabs dividers for the inside of the box.
First I painted the dividers a pale yellow. You can use any color, I decided to stay neutral.
Next I decorated the outside of the box with paper from Simple Stories baby collection. I cut the pieces down to fit and then I used an exacto knife to cut close to the edges of the box. I then inked the edges with brown ink.

I wanted to make this project with lots of options for documenting the first year. I begin by decorating each divider with paper from the Simple Stories collection. I embellished each divider with ephemera, charms, flowers and ribbons. I created pockets by not gluing the top portion of the paper to the divider to hold tags, small pages to add pictures to and journaling cards.

Thank you for looking at my project. I hope I have inspired you to make your own Baby’s 1st year memory dex box.
