The papers I'll be using to decorate my Wood box and Divider Cards is Prima Frank Garcia's Amber Moon and Autumn Sunset. These DIY Boxes and Divider Cards are not only fun to create and display, but a great way to use up all those leftover scraps from older paper collections in my stash! If you're like me, you probably accumulate more paper collections than room to store them lol.

To start this project, I like to remove all my DIY wood box pieces and lay them out on my workspace.

I cover all my wood side, front and back pieces with coordinating papers. The 2 longer side pieces measure 6 x 1 &3/4 inches. The short sides measure 4 & 1/2 x 1 & 3/4 inches. I recommend using a strong permanent glue such as Beacon glue. I trimmed the long top edges and remove any excess paper using my x-acto knife.

I Distress any rough edges away using my Clear Scraps sanding tool Click here I also ink all my papers and embellishments using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs. You can skip this this step if you like. I also covered the inside bottom of my wood box with another patterned paper, that measures 4×6 inches. Glue in place. 

Now you are assemble and glue all your wood pieces in place. Slide the two poles through the holes and adhere each piece onto the front and back sides.  Set your box aside for now. Here's a photo:

Take your Welcome Jar shape and I painted the top portion with gold acrylic paint. Let dry.

I covered the front of my jar with  a 3×4 inch journal card, trimmed and distressed any rough edges as we did previously with our wood box. Then wrapped some brown twine a few times around the top edge of my jar. I secured my ends on the backside. Then glued a chipboard sticker embellishment on the top of my twine. I glued the Welcome Jar to the front right side of my box. On both of the longer sides of my box, I adhered a chipboard sticker on each side. Here's acouple photos:

Set aside your wood box. Now we can start creating our Divider Cards. 

I took some Folkart Milkjug paint and applied along the bottom and sides of each Divider card. Let dry.

Card 1: House's Chip front: I painted both sides of the chimney  with brown acrylic paint. Let dry. I covered the roof with paper. For the bottom of my house, I covered with wood plank paper. Trim, Distress and ink as before. I applied a leaf sticker on the chimney, pumpkin vellum sentiment and fussy cut pumpkins on my house, using foam dots on the back of the white pumpkin. Card 1 back: I covered with the same base papers, applied some Blessed washi tape along the bottom edge. I adhered a puffy sticker sentiment and butterfly pieces and butterfly sticker on the roof! Here's a closeup:

Card 2 Rounded Chip front: cover with patterned paper and take another patterned paper cut to 4 x 1 &1/2 inches to create a pocket. I tucked a few tiny journal cards inside my pocket and added a sentiment sticker on the bottom edge along with some glitter washi tape.  Then added acouple crystal gems! Here's a photo:

Card 2 backside: I fussy cut out a fall image from one of the 4×6 Journaling cards. I adhered to my card using foam dots. Then glued acouple vellum pieces. Here's a closeup photo:

Card 3 Angle Chip front: I created another pocket same size as we did previously. I tucked a few tiny journal cards into my pocket. Adhered acouple cute puffy stickers and sentiment sticker at the top. Here's a photo:

Card 3 back: I took a 4×6 Journaling card and cut 1 inch off the left side. Then scored at 4 inches to fit across my Divider card. Trim and glue. I applied foam dots to the back of my Tim Holtz tiny paperdolls and adhered one paper doll on each side. Here's a closeup:

Now add your cards to your Wood box and display! You can create and add more cards and photos to your box. I may do another tutorial in the future to give you ideas. Here a photo of my finished box!
