Hello Crafters!
Hope you are having a Spooky Fabulous month so far. I love creating Halloween projects and I've been trying to use up alot of my Scrap papers from older paper collections. So why not create some Halloween Memory-Dex cards and make room for more crafty stuff!
Today I'll be using Clear Scraps Chipboard Divider Cards in 3 different chipboard designs. The Regular Chip Divider Cards Click here Vintage Chip Click here and Angle Chip Click here they all come in 3 packs so you can make several different designs.
The papers I chose are an older Prima Marketing collection "Thirty One" which I think is super cute!
To begin my project, I took Folkart Conch Shell acrylic paint and painted the bottom edge of each Divider card on both sides using a paintbrush. Let dry. Then I applied some Black Sparkle washi tape above my painted section. It's adds a nice sparklely look and the pink and black with the papers I chose.
Now the fun begins with decorating your cards. I look through my scraps and embellishments and chose which ones I want to use.
I cut all my base papers to measure 4 x 2 & 1/2 inches. I also will be inking around the edges of my cards, using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs.
Card 1 Regular Chip front: I chose a striped paper and left the top border strip in place and adhered onto my Divider card base. With foam dots, I adhered the Pumpkin ephemera piece on the right, I fussycut this little girl holding her pumpkin and glued on the left side. I added a few Prima crystals and Orange tinsel around the edge of my card.
Card 1 Back: I adhered the Broom paper at the top and created a pocket measuring 4 x 1 & 1/2 inches and glued in place. I cut out acouple small journal cards and tucked inside my pocket along with a ephemera bottle. On the front of my pocket I glued a Spooky word sentiment, a witch hat puffy sticker and fussycut cat with foam dots. Here's acouple photos!
Card 2 Vintage Chip front: I covered the base with some pink spider web paper.
I trimmed away any excess paper around the top edge using my x-acto knife. You can smooth any rough edges using a Distress tool or sanding tool. I adhered a puffy pink heart sticker in the middle of my cobweb. I cut out the vintage gal journal card and glued onto the right side. Here's a photo:
Card 2 back: I covered the base of my card with some cute candy paper. I cut out the cat image from one of the 3×4 Journaling cards and adhered using foam dots. I added some puffy sticker candy corn stickers, lollipop puffy sticker and Candy sentiment on the top. I applied a few Prima crystals on the top left side. Here's a photo:
Card 3 Angle Chip front: I cut and glued some ghost paper on the card base. I cut out a small journal card, scored 1/2 inch on the left side and adhered as a flip card. On the inside I glued a haunted house charm on the left and a tiny ghost journal card on the right. I applied some washi tape along the bottom edge. Here's a closeup look:

Card 3 back: I cut out a Bingo card Tricks & Treats and with foam dots I adhered a Cat face ephemera piece in the center of my Bingo card. I applied a few Prima crystals! Here's a photo:
