Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi all!  Laura here with you today, sharing a pretty home decor project perfect for your fall decorating!

This lovely piece starts with the Clear Scraps Square Medium DIY Pallet Shape.  These are such a great blank "canvas" to create with!  You can add family photos, mini shakers, whatever you'd like.  They can be covered with patterned paper like this project, or they can be painted, inked, stamped or stenciled!  You can truly make them your own!   Check out all the different shapes available in the Clear Scraps store HERE.

Clear Scraps also has some great embellishments to choose from.  One of the options are wooden pieces, that actually go with the 3D Changeable Frameables. 

I used the Word n Shape Fall Pumpkin set.  The pumpkin was painted with orange acrylic paint, and then brushed lightly with brown paint for texture.  The stem was painted brown.  The pumpkin is glued to the base pallet piece and then tags and flower embellishments were glued and foam taped around it.  These have an October saying, but any general fall saying would work and look adorable for the entire season.

The "Fall" word is part of the set as well.  It's painted brown and then I dabbed on a layer of orange paint to make the word "pop" just a little more.  This is a super easy thing to do using a foam brush or applicator to add a bit more dimension to the project. 

There are many options of the Word n Shape sets available.  Different seasons and events to use on your projects.  It's nice to have these in your craft stash to grab whenever you need a fun customizable embellishment!  You can find them all HERE in the Clear Scraps Store.
