Wood Tree Decor

I just love how versatile these shiplap trees, Shiplap tree  are. The possibilities are endless and I love how you can use your own style preference to create home decor. They are great for centerpieces, use on a wreath, or as home decor. Using some of those scraps I just can’t “let go” of, I created this shiplap Christmas tree decor to add to my collection.

Assemble, following directions on website, my tree came assembled already, so check the website in case yours isn’t. I painted the wood with a mixture of dark chocolate and a dab of black to get the right shade of dark brown that I wanted. Using a sponge brush to apply.

Once dry, I laid the tree on top of the paper and traced out each section onto the paper, I cut, glued and trimmed the edges. I then painted the star and the “Noel” Noel chipboard with gold paint. I added the “Noel” to the middle of the 2 bottom pieces and embellished with leaves and poinsettia flowers.
