Happy Holidays! Christmas is right around the corner! And this 8×8 tab album is the perfect size to cherish those Christmas memories, journal the special moments or to give as a gift. Using the “White Christmas” paper collection by Mintay, I created this coffee table album.
Front cover
Note: For the base paper on each page, I traced and cut out the paper to fit. I used a 4mm corner punch (this is the exact curved edge that matches the album) , I inked all edges of every page, tag and embellishment. I used the Stazon brown ink. Also make sure you punch the holes after covering each side.
I cut a 3×8 piece from the blue polka dot paper and layered it on top of the shiplap paper. I then layered the die cuts and the “Joyful” sticker.
I added “crystal” stickles to the tree to add some sparkle. I added Art Stones by Prima Marketing to the center of the red poinsettia die cut and some colorful cabochons to the flower and car.

Inside front cover
I cut and layered a 2×8 piece of cream paper to the left side. I then added a 6×5 green paper to the center of the page and added the red plaid .5×6 on top. Next, I added a die cut circle, blue flower and the wood phrase.

I traced, cut, and inked the candy striped page. I then added a 2.5×8 strip of the cream patterned paper to the left side. I cut a 6×6 piece of the flowered paper, inked the edges and glued it on top of the cream strip. I added the poinsettia die cut and shiplap “peace” sticker.
Back first tab

First I traced, cut and inked the blue flowered paper. I cut another 2×8 strip of the cream patterned paper, inked and glued it horizontally in the middle of the page. I then cut a 5x 3 piece of the burlap paper and added an envelope on top. I decorated the outside with a Santa die cut and the “santa” sticker and added the flower die cut. I made 3 tags to go inside the envelope.
for each tag I inked the edges, added ribbon and some beads.
Front second tab

On this page, I traced, cut and inked the flowered paper. I cut a 3×8 strip of blue plaid and added it to the left side. I only glued the outside edge and the top and bottom to create a pocket. I then glued a piece of tan and cream striped paper on top of the pocket and added the circle die cut along with some flowers. For the pocket I cut a 7×7 piece of burlap paper, rounded the corners, inked and added the “believe” sticker on top.
Back second tab

I traced, cut and inked the blue plaid paper and glued it to the chipboard. Next, I cut, inked and glued a 2.5×8 strip of flowered paper to the right side of the page. I cut a 6×6 piece of cream patterned paper, inked and glued it on top. Next I fussy cut the flowers, lantern and star and added it on top of the cream and flowered paper. Finally I added the die cut sled and flowers.
Front third tab
Using the cream paper, I traced, cut and inked the paper. I glued it to the chipboard piece and added a 2.5x 8 piece of flowered paper across the top. Next cut a 3×4 piece from the blue plaid paper and a 3x 1.5 piece from the flowered paper. Glue the bottom and sides, leaving the top open to create a pocket of the flowered paper to the bottom portion of the plaid. Next I added some tags to the pocket.

I embellished with some flowers, colored cabochons and metal flowers. using 2 ornament die cuts, I added gold stickles to add some bling and glued hem to the inside of the metal frame. I then added the “Merry Christmas “ sticker.
Back third tab

Trace, cut and ink the edges of the shiplap paper. Next cut and ink a 3x 8 piece of printed paper and glue the outer edge and top and bottom to create a pocket. I then added 2 4×6 pieces of paper and added die cuts and stickers.
Front of back piece

Traced, cut and inked floral paper. I added a piece of 2.5 x 6 from the shiplap paper and glued the bottom and sides only to create a pocket. I used the “merry” sticker and floral die cut to embellish. Next I cut a 3×5 piece of cream paper and added a diagonal piece of the green floral paper and glued the outside edges only to create a pocket. I put a few tags inside this pocket. Next cut a 3×5 piece of floral paper and a 2.5×4.5 piece of green and layer them. I then embellished with some die cuts and a flower.
Back side of back cover

finally I cover the back of the book with this beautiful winter scene. I trace, cut and inked the paper. You can bring your book together by tying ribbon through each hole or add book rings and decorate with ribbon like I did.
I hope you are inspired to make your own coffee table book or a gift. Happy holidays,
Jennifer
