Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there all!  Laura here with you today, sharing a little scrapbooking inspiration for those Valentine's, Wedding, Anniversary, or any occasion with a celebration of #LOVE!

This scrapbook page starts with a basic patterned page with a mixed media flare.  I wanted to layer in some hearts, since this LO is all about the love, so I grabbed one of the Clear Scraps stencils, the 6" Fan Scroll.  Using a soft blending brush I used a soft gray distress ink and applied to the stencil using just one section to create the heart border.

Once the border was done, I added a rhinestone to the center of each heart shape to give it a little sparkly bling.  Next up was to create the shaker embellishment.

I chose the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Cupcake and the top frame piece was painted a bright pink color with acrylic paint.  The back piece was traced onto the pink striped paper, cut out, and then glued down.  The other frame pieces were glued down, with some of Sprinkles Heart Confetti–one of the Shaker Filler Mixes in the Clear Scraps store added before adding the acrylic layer and then finishing off with the painted frame.  Remember to peel the protective coating off of BOTH sides of the acrylic piece!  After the shaker was complete, it was added to the corner of the photo mat with some stickers, bling, and a cute organza bow on top.

Then there was just a little extra embellishment added with some heart stickers along the border, and also around the title.

This title was created using some sparkly chipboard letters and the hashtag chipboard from the Clear Scraps @#Chipboard Embellishment set.  It's great to have the Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments in your scrapbook stash–they make a great addition to any LO and you can customize them to match!
