Hi there all! Laura here to share with you today! Who's ready for springtime? I sure am! Since we've still got a little winter to go here in the midwest, thought I'd craft a little sunshine with one of the Clear Scraps DIY Medium Pallets!
This sweet little home decor project started out with the Clear Scraps DIY Medium Pallet Mason Jar. There are a lot of different shape options for this type of project in the Clear Scraps store! Circles, Squares, Deco, Hearts–you can find that and more right HERE. It always great to have a few different shapes on hand, then you can get creative at a moments notice! Need a little decor pick-me-up or a gift, you can make something up right away! To create this, I used a soft blue acrylic paint and a gray acrylic paint to cover the pallet. Then it was time to start embellishment and decorating!
Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments? Yes, Please! This sweet little bunny is from the Clear Scraps Bunnies Chipboard Embellishment set. I just used a foam applicator with white acrylic paint and pounced for a "fluffy" effect. Super simple! I tucked a few ephemera pieces behind the bunny before I glued it onto the pallet, then added a cute spring saying sticker. I also added a few simple paper strips for a little color. This is a really great way to use your scraps from scrapbooking or cardmaking!
A little tag embellishment, some buttons, ribbon and twine add a sweet touch. It makes a great piece to display with springtime decor! Such a fun project!
