Hello there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a simple, fun Springtime decor project idea!
We've been getting some beautiful, warm, sunny weather here in the midwest, and it has me thinking Springtime thoughts! This project has pretty flowers and bright colors that would make a perfect piece of decor for a Spring display!
This starts with one of the Clear Scraps DIY Medium Pallet bases. I painted the top and bottom sections with aqua acrylic paint, then traced the center part onto the floral patterned paper, cut it out and glued it on. These Medium Pallets are a great size to use for one of these decor pieces! There are many shapes to choose from too! This particular one is the Deco DIY Medium Pallet Shape. The pretty curved edges are a nice compliment to the Spring flower theme. It's nice to have several types of these pallets on hand for when creativity strikes! You can find this one and many more in the Clear Scraps store right HERE.
After the base was prepped, it was onto the decor.
I kept it simple by layering in some paper ephemera flowers, the little flower cart, and some foam words. I used some foam tape to pop up some of the flowers to give it a little dimension.
A few more pieces of ephemera (look at that cute clouds and rainbow!) was layered in with foam tape and foam words. Super easy to make! You can always add stenciling, brush the edges with ink or paint, anything you'd like. That's why these DIY Pallets are so great! You can really make it your own creation–keep it simple, or layer up as much as you'd like!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to stop back soon for more inspiration!
