Hello and happy spring. It is beautiful here in south Texas. Temps are in the 80's, wild flowers are blooming, blue bonnets are popping up everywhere and Easter is right around the corner. I found these Easter pictures I took with my daughter when she was 2 and decided to make a picture frame to showcase that special day. I used the Base with deco frame and the egg from wood spring collection to make the frame.
First I painted the frame and base with white chalk paint and then using a foam brush, I added some brown to the base and frame. I did go over it with white again once the brown dried. Next I painted the egg brown.
Once the egg was dried I used crackle paste and a stencil to create the design on the egg.
For the frame, I added some foam stripes and adhered them together to that I was able to slide a picture in and change as needed.
Finally I embellished with flowers and a little chocolate bunny. I love how it turned out and I hope you have been inspired to make your own. Thanks for looking.
