Hey, it's Jennifer with a continuation of a project I posted in March. I posted a few chipboard and acrylic memory dex cards using alcohol inks, aesthetic girl stickers, positive sayings and other embellishments. To complete this project, I used angle acrylic dividers, rounded chip dividers, regular chip dividers and the high DYI wood box.
First I painted the box with brown chalk paint. I then grabbed some crackle paste and using a floral stencil, I added the paste to the sides of the box.
I just love how the paste slightly crackles to give a worn or vintage look.
Next, I added some flowers and a saying to the front of the box.
For the rest of the dividers, I traced, cut and used an exacto knife to trim the edges after gluing the paper to the divider. For each divider I added pockets either to the top by gluing down sides and bottom only or by adding a pocket on the front of the divider. Next, I cut and tucked away little tags, photo mats and other fun embellishments for journaling and/or adding photos. I used the aesthetic girl stickers and Tim Holtz words/sayings on each divider. I finally embellished with flowers, stickers and/or ribbon.
Below are the dividers that I posted in March that go with this project s well.
I love how this project turned out. My plan is to use it when I need a positive saying and to journal and/or add a picture of something that made me happy that day. I will be adding more dividers as I work with this project. Thanks for stopping by and looking!!! Happy crafting.
~Jennifer
