Howdy friends and fellow creators, don't you just love bright cheery colors? I love how this Graphic 45 "Let's Get Artsy" paper paired with the black contrast looks. I also love, love, love these 6×6 tab albums. They are so versatile, great for a quick last minute gift or to focus on a specific event or theme. This album was made from scraps that I had left over from a previous album I made using this paper.
Note – for each base page I traced, cut and used an exacto knife to trim the edges. I used a black ink on the edges and a corner rounder to round out the corners to fit the chipboard album. Once finished, I used 3 book rings to bind the album and used different colored and textured ribbon to wrap around each ring.
Front cover – I gathered several different colors and lengths of paper to layer. I then embellished with chipboard pieces, ribbon, flowers and colored cabochons.
Inside front cover – Before gluing down base page, I created a fold out with a pocket to hold tags or photo mats. I fussy cut around an image and glued the right side and bottom to create a side pocket. Then I glued the base page, added orange printed paper for a photo mat, and embellished with diecut pieces, flowers, and ribbon.
tab 1 front – Covered the chipboard with hot pink printed paper. I used one of the printed tag/card pieces as a pocket and placed several different sized cards and tags for journaling or pictures inside the pocket. Finally, I embellished with ribbon.
Tab 1 back – I just love this floral/butterfly print paper so much that I used it as a base page. I then glued a printed pink piece of paper on top of black card stock to make a photo mat and embellished with different flowers, die cuts and stickers.
Tab 2 front- For this page, I created a photo mat and embellished with die cuts, ribbon, stickers and colored cabochons.
Tab 2 back – After gluing base page, I cut 3 strips of paper 6×2, I then used an exacto knife to create a "wave" look on the top portion of each piece. After inking, I glued down the sides and bottom only to create pockets. I like doing this method, and do it often, because it allows for more opportunities for tags and mini photo mats in small albums. Next, I cut several different sized picture cards form the collection and set them inside the "waves". You can definitely add more. Finally, I embellished with this fun flower, ribbons and stickers.
For the final pages, I created photo mats from black card stock and floral printed paper. I embellished with various ribbons, flowers and stickers.
I hope you have been inspired and enjoyed looking through this fun, bright and cheery mini album. Thank you again for looking!
