Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to share a little inspiration for one of the NEW Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes!

Don't you just LOVE this darling new Fence Shiplap Shape in the small size??!!  Just such a perfect size to create as a fun little home decor item for your tiered tray or sweet little favors or gifts for a party or get together!  This could even be given as a "birthday" or "thinking of you" card–why not??!!

You can see in this pic the great detail that is on the shiplap, and just adding white acrylic paint and a light brush of gray created a perfect picket fence look!  The cross pieces come with this sweet little fence as well, and I painted them a soft blue color.  Once dry it was glued together, then it was time to decorate!

I layered in some ephemera and stickers.  These were layered on using foam tape to build up some dimension and interest.  A few enamel dots added a fun "pop" of color.

These colorful embellishments add a perfect touch to bring this pretty Springtime project to life!  These new shiplap shapes are so fun!  This picket fence comes in different sizes as well!  This is the small, but you'll also find medium and large.  This is in addition to all the other amazing shapes you can choose from!  Stars, tags, campers, butterflies and more!  If you look in the "What's New" section on the Clear Scraps store home page, you'll find all the newest goodies, including these!  The direct link to that section is HERE.
