The papers I chose to decorate my album today are from Frank Garcia's "French Blue" collection.

This Mixable Lacey Album has both acrylic and chipboard pages. I recommend  peeling off the protective film from the acrylic pages, as you go along. You don't want to scratch your acrylic. To adhere my papers to my acrylic pages, I'm using a clear tape runner and I'm careful where to place my adhesive so it doesn't create any marks or globs of glue where you don't want it to show through. I'll also explain each album page as I go along.

Front cover: I applied some Prima Chalk Ink- Worn jeans, on the front right side of my album. Let dry.  See photo:

Now taking one of the patterned papers from the 8×8 paper pad, I cut to measure 3 & 1/4 x 8 inches. Trace and punch the holes before adhering your paper. I cut off a floral border strip and adhered on the left edge. Here's a photo:

I diecut  a vintage lady from one of the small Journaling cards, fussycut the dress form from a small tag card. I glued a tiny pink rose in the center. Next t I took a Tim Holtz metal frame and with my fingers, i applied some Gliding Wax in Silver over top of the raised areas on my frame.

Glue your journal card to the backside of your frame. Then add some foam tape on the backside and adhere towards the top of your front cover. I glued a few Prima flowers on the upper right corner, with foam dots I adhered the dress form over top of the matching image and glued a chipboard sticker perfume bottle on the lower left corner. Here's a closeup look:

and waterfalled them  onto my page. I glued a chipboard sentiment sticker along the bottom.

Page 3: I covered my chipboard page with a pink rose floral paper. I recommend using Beacon glue to adhere your papers to your chipboard. I trimmed away any excess paper from the edges, using my x-acto knife. You can take a Distress tool if needed and smooth any rough edges. I inked my papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, before adhering. At the top and bottom of my page, I glued a border strip. Then added a chipboard sticker sentiment on the top right corner. I took one of the ephemera tickets, stapled it and applied glue on 3 sides and adhered on my page. You can slip a photo underneath your ticket. Here's how my pages look.

Page 3: I covered my page with a floral paper and trimmed the edges as previously done. I tore a border strip and applied Distress Ink along the edges. I created a flip up page, 4×6 inches and scored 1/2 inch at the top. Then glued at the top of my page. I glued the two torn border strips on the top and bottom of my flip page. I took an ephemera envelope with the butterfly, and with foam dots on the back, I adhered the envelope onto the front of  my flip page. I added a photo underneath, glued a few small Prima flowers on the bottom right corner. Taking a strip of tickets I scored them and folded accordian style.

Then glued the bottom ticket to my page. Then paperclip the other tickets in place.

Page 4: I cut my patterned paper to measure 5 & 3/4 x 8 inches and adhered to my page. (Be sure to peel off the protective film and punch your holes before adhering your paper) I glued a small photo at the top. I took a ephemera card with the vintage lady and glued along the bottom edge at a slight angle. Then glued a pink wax seal on the bottom. Here's some photos:

Page 6: I created a side flip page 7×8 inches. I glued some butterfly paper onto my album page. I added some pink trim to the top and bottom edges. With foam dots, I adhered a ephemera typewriter piece at the bottom. Underneath I added a photo, chipboard sentiment and with foam dots I adhered some fussycut letters. On the backside of my side flip page I glued a butterfly image from the paper pad. Here's how my pages turned out:

I cut out a small sentiment piece and adhered to the bottom left corner on my pocket, using foam dots. I tucked some journal cards inside my pocket. The vintage lady tag, I glued a silver heart button over the top hole on my tag.
